OPA Out of State Affiliate Membership Application

OPA Out of State Affiliate Membership is for candidates who are a member of the psychological association of the state or province in which they reside, and must not be living or practicing in Oregon.

This category is also available to OPA members who neither reside nor work in the state at least 8 months of the fiscal year.  Those members shall be put on an inactive status and shall pay dues at this reduced rate.

Out of State Affiliate Members have no voting rights, and cannot hold office.

Membership dues are $70 per year.

OPA dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes, but may be partially deductible as a business expense.  OPA estimates that 23% of your dues cannot be deducted as an ordinary and necessary business expense due to lobbying activites on behalf of the membership.
